【 France 2026】 Call for Abstracts

ICID 2026 will take place in Marseille, France, from 12 to 17 October 2026, under the theme: “Water and Agricultural Resilience in the Face of Climate Change.”

This major international event will bring together over 1,200 participants from more than 50 countries : researchers, engineers, policymakers, institutions, NGOs and private sector representatives.

A week of dialogue, innovation and collaboration to co-create sustainable solutions to the challenges of climate change.

The abstract and paper submission platform is now open.

Submissions are invited from policymakers, professionals, academics, researchers, experts, and scientists from both the public and private sectors.

Under the main theme of the Congress, Abstracts may address on:

In the face of climate change, how can irrigation and drainage contribute to the agroecological transition?In the face of climate change, how can irrigation and drainage contribute to the agroecological transition?
Water conservation in agriculture: technology must facilitate the evolution of practices. Warning systems, monitoring, remote sensing, irrigation equipment... Where do we stand?
Unconventional water sources (REUSE, desalination): can we really ease the pressure on resources, and for what uses?
