Sharing Knowledge from Florida: Taiwanese Delegation's Remote Sensing Training Program
On June 18th, the Taiwanese delegation, who returned from their exciting journey to Florida about a month ago, shared their experiences and new knowledge from an advanced training program on remote sensing. The presentations were held at National Taiwan University, where the delegation members showcased what they learned to the Chairman of CTCID and the representative of the Irrigation Agency.
Some delegates highlighted advanced remote sensing techniques and real-world examples from Florida. For instance, two delegates discussed a farmer competition in Florida, explaining how such initiatives might help solve drought problems in Taiwan.
The knowledge and skills acquired by the delegation during their training program in Florida are expected to bring significant improvements to Taiwan's agricultural water management. By implementing the techniques and best practices they learned, Taiwan can enhance its agricultural productivity, sustainability, and resilience against climate change.
