The preliminary session of the training program for remote sensing concluded successfully from March 6th to March 8th, 2024. This course featured Vice President Kuo-Sheng Cheng, Consultant Hong-Yu Kuo, and Director Kuo-Chan Huang from the Taiwan Research Institute on Water Resources and Agriculture as lecturers, covering topics such as remote sensing principles, GIS applications, and satellite interpretation. The instructors' clear and comprehensive explanations not only deepened participants' understanding of remote sensing theories but also provided hands-on experience with the remote sensing software Datum Workstation, enhancing their practical skills.

Overall, this training program received high praise from participants, expanding their professional knowledge and strengthening their practical skills. This lays a solid foundation for future international courses.

Looking ahead, international course participants will depart for Florida, USA, at the end of April to delve further into remote sensing and conduct field visits to local facilities. With the thorough preparation from the preliminary session, we are confident that participants will achieve significant learning outcomes in Florida.
